surprisingly nice stay!
good breakfast variety helpful staff quiet location
I thought the breakfast had good variety and tasted good. staff are really helpful. I found it easy to leave my luggage for free. i liked the location because it's close to the cool nightlife spots, yet i thought the hotel itself was quiet.

The room was very quiet, which i appreciate. Breakfast was included (a buffet). The pool was a good size to cool off after a day of sightseeing.

good breakfast clean pool quiet location
the breakfast buffet included corn flakes, eggs, omelettes, and fruit. the pool was clean and at a perfect temperature for kids! it was quiet despite the location. i appreciate how close it was to the grand palace.
The air conditioning was capped. It didn't seem to get lower than 24 degrees.

the hotel is in a quiet area! it is a short walk from restaurants, bars and shops. it is close to the grand palace and river boat services. there are many places to find food, souvenirs and massages around.

lack of soundproofing breakfast scarcity
I must say, the room i got wasn't exactly what i'd call soundproofed. it was more like the opposite. i could hear everything happening in the hallway, every door slamming, every conversation, every drunken stumble at 3 a.m... sleep was a bit of a luxury. also, the breakfast buffet seemed to be perpetually running out of things. Getting a second cup of coffee reminded me of winning the lottery.

loud air conditioning room cleanliness
The room was not the cleanest. i found some dust and a few stray hairs. the air conditioning was also quite loud. Sleeping with it on was a challenge. i wonder if earplugs should be standard issue.

I found the room quite disappointing, primarily due to the dampness i encountered. there was a noticeable musty smell, and the linens felt perpetually damp, it was quite unsettling. also, the air conditioning unit was excessively loud. It sounded like a small engine running constantly.

Good value and location
friendly staff good location
The hotel has friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast includes both western and Thai options. The hotel restaurant is good. Several good restaurants and temples are in walking distance. I enjoyed the location near Khaosan Road.
The air conditioning took a long time to cool down the room. My room felt dingy. Only one key card was given. It controlled both the AC and lights.
